Celebrating Eco Friendly Ganesh Chaturthi at Home

As all of us are aware that the nation has been under lockdown since the 22nd of March, 2020. The Government has strictly prohibited any social gatherings from taking place, be it in temples or open grounds. All these precautions are taken to strictly avoid any physical contact, which will prevent Covid-19 from spreading any further.

In a stressful situation like this and with Ganesh Chaturthi being right around the corner, all we want is the celebration to place in high spirits.

If you still want to keep up the Ganesh Chaturthi vibe, it’s best to go eco friendly this season, and I’ll tell you why:

Celebrating while maintaining social distancing:

Social distancing will take away the grand and joyous ceremony of Visarjan from us. But none the less let’s adjust to the situation and still have fun without missing the ritual. Our eco-friendly Ganpati idols can be immersed in a bucket of water or in a tub present at home. The soil that remains in the bucket after the immersion process is done, can be reused to fertilize plants. You can also use it to plant a small new sapling. This makes celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi along with maintaining social distancing, a lot easier.

Reserving Water:

We go to the common rivers, seas, and lakes to immerse our idols which causes degradation of the water quality and a POP idol requires more water to break down. Even then, it is not completely dissolvable as a nature-friendly idol – which is made out of organic materials. Immersing an eco-friendly Ganesh idol does not necessarily need gallons of water as it can be submerged into just a bucket of water. But a POP Ganesh idol requires 10x times more water, which makes it impossible to be immersed at home.

Prevents Water Contamination:

The use of extensive glitter, plastic beads, diamonds, pearls and other such synthetic material used for decoration on POP idols causes water contamination. All these materials are very harmful to both human and aquatic life leading to serious health issues. However, that is not the case with a natural clay idol. So switch to Eco-friendly Ganesh idols for a healthy and safe environment!

Keep Bappa’s spirit with you forever:

Once Bappa’s idol is submerged in water, the red soil that remains can be used to plant the sapling we give you with your idol. You can also reuse it for other gardening purposes. This way you can be sure that Bappa’s soul will stay with you while the sapling grows into a plant. So now, you don’t just have Bappa but you’re also keeping him happy by doing your bit at saving the world he created!

As the current situation demands us to remain socially distanced from each other, this is the right time for you to switch into buying an Eco-Friendly Ganpati. In this way, we not just avoid social contact but also celebrate the festival in the right spirit with loved ones by your side.

Since we’ve already stayed home all these days,  mother nature utilized this time to revive and purify herself. Let us inspire her speedy recovery by planting one sapling each. We’re doing our bit by handing over to you a small sapling as a token of gratitude to nature, you do your bit by planting them at home.

So join us on our mission, as we collectively promote the auspicious Ganesh Chaturthi celebration – the ‘Eco-friendly’ way.

Bring home Eco-Friendly Ganpati idol!
